Where will I be based?

Department	Location
Human Resources	This role is primarily based at our Head Office in Hayes, but is likely to require some travel around the country.
Research & Development	This role is primarily based at our Kitt Green site in Wigan.
Sales	This role is based out of our Head Office in Hayes, but is likely to require you to travel around the country.
Finance	This role is based at our Head Office in Hayes.
Information Technology	This role is primarily based at our Kitt Green site in Wigan.
Quality	This role is primarily based at our Kitt Green site in Wigan & may require travel to other sites in the UK & Ireland.

Note: All candidates will be required to be mobile as travel between UK & Ireland sites, visits to customers or suppliers and travel to European sites is sometimes necessary.

What is the salary?

The salary for successful placement candidates is £16,000, plus a performance related completion bonus. 

Can I secure a graduate job from a placement year?

Yes. If we have been impressed with your performance during your placement year you have the opportunity to secure a graduate offer before returning to University.

Do you specify a degree discipline and class? 

We require all candidates to be expecting or have achieved a minimum 2:2 honours degree. Please see below for a list of the specific degree discipline requirements for each role:

Research and Development - food science or related degree

Quality – food science or related degree

Finance – finance, business or numerical based degree

Sales – any degree

Human Resources – any degree

Information Technology – any degree
